Graduate Certificate
SCA's Office of Industry Relations oversees two programs of study in the Business of Entertainment in conjunction with the Marshall School of Business. The courses cover topics such as entertainment marketing, project financing, and the business interest of agents and managers.
USC Comedy
The first program at a major research university to offer a minor in comedy, USC Comedy at the School of Cinematic Arts offers instruction in the writing, directing, production as well as the history and theory of comedy. Students work with a distinguished, award-winning faculty of comedy professionals to discover and develop their comedic voices, while getting unrivaled access to the field through workshops, internships, demonstrations and screenings and the USC Comedy Festival.
Trojan Vision
USC's award winning television station, Trojan Vision programs are produced exclusively by USC students and are broadcast to the entire USC campus and surrounding student housing, reaching more than 29,000 students, 18,000 university employees, and a global audience on the web every day.
International Programs
The USC School of Cinematic Arts offers opportunities and support for students of the moving image around the globe including Globo Broadcasting, Rio De Janeiro; Multimedia University Cinematic Arts Program, Iskandar, Malaysia; and ShanghaiTech University.
Documentary
The USC School of Cinematic Arts continues to build on its deep history of analyzing and producing documentary films, television, video games, and emerging media experiences. All students across the School's seven divisions are encouraged to pursue nonfiction media-making and work our award-winning faculty in finding new ways to use the moving image to discover truth.
